There are so many ways to keep your wedding invites on trend and the finished product really is well worth it and is something you'll be totally proud of!

We’ve collated our favourite ideas for making sure your invites are stylish in preparation for sharing the date of your upcoming nuptials!

Look out for free papers!

If designing your own invite sounds like a nightmare, then look no further! There are oodles of designs out there right now perfect for wedding invitations (including the Creative Rox ones)!

Free, downloadable papers are perfect for inserting into your invite envelopes to create trendy envelope liners and can often be used for invite backgrounds and borders too!

You can get plenty of inspiration on how to use them by using the likes of Pinterest and Youtube too!

Switch out paper for vellum

Clear invites are so on trend right now! We’re sure you’ll agree they look absolutely fab! Most people think that printing on paper is the done thing but it’s well worthwhile experimenting with something different.

You can create this look by using vellum. It looks great when printed with colour and you can still add glitz and glam to this material too.

Add some glitz

Embossing and foiling are fab for adding some glamour to your invites – but remember, there is a fine line between the perfect amount of glitz and too much!

There are machines out there that foil for you (check out the Gemini Foil Press Machine) or your can stock up on embossing powders, embossing pens and a heat tool and create your own embossed effect.

Try out your calligraphy skills

Calligraphy is a fab skill to learn whether it be through the patience of watching youtube videos or even attending a workshop to master the art of penmanship. Once you’ve cracked it, you can use your new-found skill to write out the place cards and names on your invitations and table plan enabling you to save the pennies on hiring someone to do it for you!

Seal your envelope with style

Complete your envelope with a stylish finish and use a wax seal stamp and some coordinating wax sticks. You can get personalised wax seal stamps online or if you're looking for a more generic one, these are readily available too.

These wax seal stamps are a perfect way for adding the extra special completed finish to your wedding invites!
