Mixing paints to make different colours is a skill that every good painter requires, but is it really as easy as you think it is?

There are three colours that can't be mixed and that are always used as your base colours - red, blue and yellow (AKA Primary Colours).

These three colours can be mixed together to create different colours, these are known as secondary colours. Greens, Purples and Oranges fall under this category. Of course, these too can be altered by using whites and blacks to create different shades or tints.

This short video gets down to the basics of mixing paints to prep you for your next project!
