Last Minute Halloween Costumes
Are you missing the perfect costume for that last-minute Halloween Party or have the kids decided last minute that they want to go out Trick or Treating?
We’ve got you covered with some fab ideas for fancy dress which intend to be simple to make – perfect for adults and kids.
What’s great about these DIY bat wings is that they can be made for both kids and adults. Of course, you’ll need a little more felt for the adult ones. They’re perfect for popping over some plain black clothes and so simple to make – you won’t even require a needle and thread!
Okay, so this one isn’t quite as easy as the bat wings but it’s still easy to make with this tutorial. Use some black and silky material to make this authentic looking vampire cape! A great addition to a long black dress or a white shirt and black trousers and of course the obligatory vampire fangs and fake blood.
The Mummy is a simple costume to recreate. Start of with some beige leggings and a long-sleeved top as your base. To this we recommend using some bandages and if you want to add a aged look to them you could even soak them in some tea for a little while (obviously do this prior to wearing them.)
This may seem quite hard to create but it really isn’t. With the help of an all-black outfit (leggings or tracksuit bottoms and a black long-sleeved top) and some white iron on sheets or even some white felt, you can add your bone shapes to the costume. With the help of Google to find the bone shapes you can simply print out your shapes, cut them out and adhere them to your all-black outfit.
Again, with the help of an all-black costume and maybe some black faux fur this costume is a customary for Halloween and super simple to create. You can use face paint on your face to create your cat look and then make some ears using some black felt/velvet and a black headband and a tail too out of the same material as your ears and some stuffing.
