How To Make A Summer Planner
This entry was posted on July 14, 2016.
Hello there ...
Yesterday I was talking to Jude's (My 5 year old's) teaching assistant and she told me she wanted to write a plan of things to do during the summer holidays as otherwise it goes way to fast. It got me thinking and I decided to make her an planner that she can also store all of her summer memories.
I think I will probably make a second one of these for the children to store all their summer memories as it goes way to fast!
If you would like to create one just like this here is how it is done:
- Start off with a plain white 8 x 8" album.
3. Adhere the larger panels to the book and add a strip of coordinating patterned paper across the centre.
4. Trim one of the card panels from the 12 x 12" Paper Pad and layer onto brown patterned paper.
7. Tie ribbon around the spine of the book. Add a butterfly to embellish.
Of course Craft Asylum have a whole range of paper pads you could use to change the design of this book and even better they are all half price.
I hope you like the project. If you make one remember to share it with us over on the Creative Rox Facebook page, or visit and tell us what summer memories you are planning on making.
Until next week ...
