Home Decor With Project Life
This entry was posted on August 4, 2016.
Are you a Project Life fan? I certainly am but I love to use it in usual ways and not just for memory keeping in albums.
Creative Rox have a great range of Project Life products and I want to show you ways not only to get the best of it for memory keeping and pocket scrapbooking but ways in which to use it in your cardmaking and papercrafts.
Today I am going to show you a tutorial on how to use an embroidery hoop and some Project Life product to make a fabulous piece of home decor that doubles up as a scrapbook page!
Here are all the materials you will need and easy steps to follow.
Materials: Project Life Speciality Cards Inspire
Large Arrow Hanger
- Place the linen into the embroidery hoop, pull tight and trim excess from the back.
2. Adhere the 2 Project Life cards centrally to the linen, so that the larger card overlaps the smaller one.
3. Print your chosen photograph, round the corners and adhere using 3D foam pads.
4. Die-cut 2 of the feathers and the detailed feathers from the Sizzix Thilits Die Set Dream Away and layer together.
There you have it. Off course you can completely make your own take on this using your chosen embellishment. I love the effect you get using Project Life in home decor. It really is perfect for those type of projects.
Not only is this a great home decor piece it is also a great way to show off those beautiful photographs we all have.
What have you been making using Project Life? I would love to see. It always amazes me how we all use the same products but get such different results.
Don't forget to share your projects with us over on our Facebook page and remember to check back here often to see more inspiration.
Until next week ...
